At Howard Court Care Home in Brampton, an exciting new chapter is unfolding. Over the past months, we have been carefully renovating and enhancing our home to create an environment that feels even more welcoming, comfortable, and inspiring for the people who live here.
Our main lounge and dining area have recently been refreshed, bringing a renewed sense of warmth and comfort to the heart of the home. These shared spaces are where residents gather each day to enjoy meals, conversations, activities, and quiet moments together. The improvements have been designed to make these areas feel brighter, more comfortable, and even more like the living room of a family home.
But this is only the beginning.
Improving Corridors and Resident Rooms
Work has also begun on upgrading our corridors and resident rooms. These improvements are part of an ongoing effort to ensure every area of Howard Court feels welcoming, well cared for, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.
Each improvement is guided by one simple question:

Whether through refreshed décor, thoughtful touches, or practical upgrades, our goal is to create spaces that support both comfort and independence for our residents.
A New Activity Centre on the Horizon
One of the most exciting developments currently underway is the creation of a dedicated activity centre just across the courtyard from the main house.
The space is currently being cleared and prepared as we begin designing what will become a vibrant hub for creativity, connection, and meaningful activities. Residents and families will soon have a welcoming area where hobbies, group activities, and special events can flourish.
As spring approaches, the surrounding courtyard will come alive with flowers and plants lovingly maintained by residents who enjoy gardening. For many people, tending to plants is more than a hobby — it’s a way to stay active, connect with nature, and take pride in creating something beautiful.
A Bespoke Home with Character
Howard Court may not be a purpose-built care facility, but this is part of what makes it special. The building offers a charm and character that many modern facilities simply cannot replicate.

We have a large apartment-style room available, offering generous space and privacy, which may appeal to someone seeking a comfortable long-term home or a short stay for respite care.
We also have a small number of smaller rooms available, each providing a cosy and welcoming living space within our friendly community.
